Hi everyone out there,

I went to the Phils Embassy here in Singapore today to request for an NBI and CENOMAR. Lucky and unlucky! Lucky because I can get NBI here even without flying back there in the Phils. Unlucky, because I can only get CENOMAR in manila because they do not have all the information in NSO. But I could send someone to request for me, still lucky thogh rolleyes.gif ! As you know I am annulled with my previous marriage, I would like to know what are the requirements to bring or submit so I can get a copy of the document I need (CENOMAR)?

biggrin.gif cool.gif tongue.gif Any information is a big THANK YOU!!!

Medical Exams – A caller explained that the civil surgeon who completed the medical exam used the wrong form and then wanted to charge an indigent refugee to reprocess the paperwork on the correct form. What recourse does an applicant have if this occurs?

USCIS Response: Customers should notify the Director of their local office when they have a complaint about a civil surgeon.

Announcement:

e-Census interface with The PORT is undergoing changes and the payment facility will not be available starting, May 25, 2007. Nevertheless, payments over-the-counter at any Unionbank branch, for local requests, will still be accepted. Please wait for our future announcement. Thank you.

but still tried to request but it seems not currently working. What should I do but to ask in my family if they could get CENOMAR for me. But need to know the requirements to bring.

Yeah, no telling how long it will be 'undergoing changes' then. It states on the site that PORT is only for within the Philippines. They do have and option for paying by credit card instead of 'the PORT'. If you do not have a credit card perhaps your fiance could order your CENOMAR for you online. But the FAQ site gives you the requirements and how to do it by post.:

Sorry, I forget that not everyone knows what FAQ means. It means 'Frequently Asked Questions'. It is at: http://www.census.go...g/civapfaq.html and https://www.ecensus....re/frmIndex.asp I quoted (above) all the relevant information for someone in Singapore. The main link that you want (if you wish to pay at a bank in Singapore) is: https://www.ecensus....ntProc-Bank.asp

An annullment usually means that the marriage is treated as it never existed (for most legal purposes), so you still need a CENOMAR. I believe annulled marriages no longer show up on the CENOMAR, while marriages ended by other means (death) show up. Others here that have had their marriages annulled would be better able to tell you about that.

I have also read in the VJ forum tonight that she was also annulled and it appears in here CENOMAR that she is married so she ask the guys there what she'll do so they advise her to bring along with her her annulment papers sad.gif

yes, even you are annulled you will need the CENOMAR, it stated there your marriage how many marriage that you had, it will not indicate there the marriage was annulled, you can file online, even to their servebilis... you dont need any documents in filing just only information about you and your exhusband and the date of your marriage.

lovemusic, Rioneugene is right. you can request CENOMAR by phone, Just be carefull on giving your information.
i knew someone who requested CENOMAR by phone, but when it was delivered to her, there's a mistake on her mother's name.

just a suggestion..request CENOMAR by phone, have it to deliver in your house here in Phils. then, ask ur relative to pay it in the bank. Wait for 8 days (average)..as soon as they receive it, tell them to send it to you there in Singapore.

By the way, dont forget to give them an authorization letter, Courier might ask for it since you're out of he country.

i knew someone who requested CENOMAR by phone, but when it was delivered to her, there's a mistake on her mother's name.

just a suggestion..request CENOMAR by phone, have it to deliver in your house here in Phils. then, ask ur relative to pay it in the bank. Wait for 8 days (average)..as soon as they receive it, tell them to send it to you there in Singapore.

By the way, dont forget to give them an authorization letter, Courier might ask for it since you're out of he country.
regards!

Hello everyone, thanks a lot for all the replies. really appreciate them all. Yes I will phone the office this coming Monday. Actually I thought of post mailing my request because there's nobody at home during weekdays. I printed out the form just now but then it confuses me. it ask about the Owner's Personal Information then it ask the father's name and mother's maiden name but never ask the husband(previous) name? So i need to call them to make this all clear before post mailing it. Better ready with everything than sorry in the end tongue.gif wink.gif . Thanks again to all!!! Just love this site!!!!!!!!Everybody is so helpful.
