To the OP, I would like you to really think about this issue. I just mentioned two people with bipolar.Notice these two people I just named are affluent. They could afford the best treatment for their disorder. Did all the star treatment stop them from their erractic behavior ????? I am pretty sure your fiance is not getting the same quality treatment Mike Tyson and Chris Benoit got. I do feel sorry for your fiance because he didn't ask to be that way, and no bipolar suffer did. You should really  about this issue .

I am bipolar, and have always admitted it on AC2 and BNN and aswa forums. I took meds for 6 years and then have been off thos meds for about 10 years now. I am perfectly fine. BUt, I was biploar2, the milder form. From attending depression support meetings of which many people were bipolar and from reading and educating myself about the disorder, I have seen that meds do indeed work for most people. Science s very advanced now in treating this. About 90% can be succesfully treated, but most do not seek treatment or stick with it. As long as the person takes the meds, they should be fine. But, each person is unique so its hard to say to what degree they are affected.

She went back home |
