One day early on in our relationship my girl told me she and her family was going to the beach. I said that sounds like fun imagining something like here with beach towels and coolers. She told me she was going there not for fun but for seafood. Again I am thinking of Red Lobster,or maybe a seafood merchant, wrong on both accounts. They were searching for and digging up small shells and taking them home to boil the inhabitants. I told her she did not have to eat like that,I could send her money for food but she said they liked this. Now I have grown up near the woods and we have eaten things I am sure she would not like, Moral mushrooms, Frog legs, Squirrel, and my favorite deer salami. Still I don't think I can try the shells, the dried fish which I still think looks like bait, is definitely an acquired taste that the locals have, the octopus isn't bad but only cause all I could taste was the terioke sauce. The Octopus tasted like rubber. I know I'm just scratching the surface there are many things there I like but some things just stand out more than others. I think we could compromise and deep fry the dried fish and shells then I might be ok.
