This the second to the last requirements in the paper that the USCIS sent me:

_
[_] If you have ever been arrested, bring the related Police Report and the original or certified Final Court

Disposition for each arrest, even if the charges have been dismissed or expunged. If no court record is

available, bring a letter from the court with jurisdiction indicating this.

Questions:

1. I got no court record here in US and in the Philippines. Do I need to go court here in Ohio to get a

proof that I don't have criminal records?

2. Does my husband need to get one too?

3. If both me and my husband need to get this requirement, which particular court office?

4. I had a baranggay clearance, police clearance, NBI clearance from the Philippines that I had before

for my K1/K2 Visa Interview at the US Embassy, do they need all this papers too although I

believed all are expired?

PLs help. I would greatly appreciate any inputs. Thank you.

You are only required to bring court documents if you have been arrested and adjudicated in the U.S. If no arrests, no such documents are needed at your Adjustment interview.

Hi everyone!

Guys, I need your help. My interview is in about a month. One of the requirements stipulated on the notice was a government issued identification. The problem is the only identification I have is my passport and it is already expired. Will they let me in with an invalid passport? And would the IO ask for a valid passport?

I would appreciate your response.

Take any photo ID you brought with you from the Philippines, the original interview notice, and legal versions (certified) of all civil documents (marriage, divorce docs of spouse) and updated employment/income tax documents fo sponsor.

So....just to give you guys an update of what had happened (re: valid government issued ID), esp. to those would-be AOS filers who'll have the same challenge as I had. My husband and I went for the interview in SF on Aug. 29th, since my passport w/c at time the only government-issued ID that I have was already expired, he was the only one who was allowed to get in. We were told that he needs to tell the IO that I don't have a valid pic ID and that the IO will have to escort me into the building. I waited for about an hour and was starting to worry when I started seeing people/couples who went in after us come out of the building. I was afraid they were giving my husband a hard time. After what seemed like forever my husband along with the IO came pick me up. She was pleasant and nice. Interview lasted 20 mins. or maybe less. Well, I later found out that the couple who was being interviewed before us by the same IO was with her for almost an hour thus I waited that long. Later that afternoon I got an update on my case --card production ordered and a day after that another update that says 'decision letter is sent'. Kinna weird cause I thought decision should come first before card production. But it doesn't matter. Our application was APPROVED.

Big thanks to WOF's. Thank you everyone.

Medical Exams – A caller explained that the civil surgeon who completed the medical exam used the wrong form and then wanted to charge an indigent refugee to reprocess the paperwork on the correct form. What recourse does an applicant have if this occurs?

USCIS Response: Customers should notify the Director of their local office when they have a complaint about a civil surgeon.
