Hi! I am a newbie here (just registered) but I am a regular reader of this forum. It's very interesting and helpful.
I noticed that almost everybody is seeking help and advice for Mr. Bacon. I know he is very helpful and knowledgeable but my question is WHO IS MR. BACON? Is he an immigration lawyer? He always have an answer to all immigration stuff....I am just curios.

You're too kind. I'm not an attorney, but my wife and I have a tax and notary business. We do paralegal-type work, including immigration form assistance. I find it important to stay informed of immigration-related changes and requirements. I try to share whatever information I have, so as to counter so much of the misinformation and hearsay one finds in these circles. Generally speaking, people who give advice have good intentions, but much of what we hear from people and from "immigration websites" is based on single or few anecdotal experiences or is outdated.

I am a web developer, but most of my work involves Ford business to business sites so nothing out there in the public
So similar to you, I am in front of the computer all day at work, and it is easy for me to follow the forum while I am waiting for the computer to finish other things (copying files, export a flash component, etc.).

Medical Exams – A caller explained that the civil surgeon who completed the medical exam used the wrong form and then wanted to charge an indigent refugee to reprocess the paperwork on the correct form. What recourse does an applicant have if this occurs?
USCIS Response: Customers should notify the Director of their local office when they have a complaint about a civil surgeon.

I figure was something like that.
I was just wondering if you were a dinosaur like me, mainframe people are in extinction but with this comes job security.
Cheers and keep up the good work (you and Bacon),
Carlos.
