Well this morning I got word of a deal I been working on coming through, and I'll have the cash for my ticket to go back to the Philippines. This time I am staying. So on or around the 1st of Nov I am leaving to go back.

You seen these Cartoons of an Old man dancing around on his Cane? That was me this morning, lol....

Hey coastie, if we can arrange it, maybe we'll meet up in Ormoc. I'll be leaving here on the 6th of November.

Congratulations, I am sure you are feeling on top of the world. Does this mean you will be getting married soon? How does your girl feel about this? I look forward to hearing more of this great adventure you are about to go on.

I had not heard from her, but I am sure she happy. Wedding will be but not sure when. Recently I had learn some news which almost broke us up. But my heart says to stick it out and work out the problem. Something she failed to mention. Till we fix that, we are not able to marry.

Hey Coastie ...

I really hope that where ever you end up in the Philippines ... that you'll still be able to check in here and let us know how you are doing over there ...

I'd really hate to lose contact with you ...

Part of me wants to do what you are doing ... but another part of me isnt all that convinced thats its all that safe ... fortunately none of me can retire until 2014 ... so I still have time to wait and see what develops next ...

George,

Thanks I'll be coming in and checking in. I enjoy reading most of the post here, and commenting on some.

Safe? Is it Safe here in the States? I live in a small town, and here in the past few months we had 3 ladies go missing, one was found murdered. Drunk drivers, and fights daily. Yes there are dangers everywhere. We can not draw up in our caves, that will only give the evil the Victory.

You are a smart man, and fortunate you can go there and observe for yourself. If you find she is not being honest with you move on. The pain is not worth it down the road, trust me on this friend.

Yes you can say that. Back in May I found out some information that would be a deneal for her, so I told her that I'll go there instead. But since I am not able to work, and living on a fixed income, saving money was out of the question. I lived for 10 days and the rest of the month I hope for change you might say. Basicly living in there conditions that most filipinos do, but here in the states. I did sell on ebay to help out, but it was just that, and little extra. If I needed some bread, I make a sale, if I needed some gas, I made a sale or 2, it always worked out like that. So my only source to get money was to sell something. Well it took me a while, but I sold some items that I used to help me along after my Disabilty checks ran out.

Well We almost broke up over it, but the heart said no. i was doing a battle between her and her Aunt that lives here in the States. Sadly her Aunt was telling her one thing, and I was another. So when Leah started to say We can live together and wait till we did come here to marry I got to wondering why. Did I want to hear this I was not sure, but I guess what the problem was and I was correct. So It going to take some time still but we can fix the problem. Just cost me more, and I can not do it from here, I would not have that kind of money. There, yes for I'll have extra money to play with.. After we fix the problem, and she takes off, ok I'll had me a domestic helper for that period. If she does not, I'll have a great wife.

Hey Coastie

Glad to hear what you wanted materialized.

I also live on Leyte, near Carigara.

Ormoc is a very nice town to live.
You should enjoy yourself there.

Best wishes for you and Leah.

Maybe we can all have an Ormoc meet-up sometimes?

The food and atmosphere at CHITO'S CHOW BAR & RESTAURANT is great.

I will be in Leyte from 14 Sept 2006 until sometime mid 2007.

Lloyd
