wouldn't it be nice to have a feed back on the posts ? i was in another forum for a while, which i left and it was always good to thank somebody for his posts or even nicer to receive a thank you for a post...(I know its possible, because the software you use is exactly the same as the other forum :-) )

in life its all about motivation, maybe you could program that in ?

I haven't seen that feature ... here we just make do with adding thank you messages to threads that are seen by all :)

Thank you button isn't available yet in IPB software. WOF used an IPB software which is different from other community software like vbulletin and xenforo which offers thank you button plug in.

If you find a useful post from member then feel free to add her/him a reputation :D that is another way of showing thank you for the useful post :)

Sheen

Adding to a members reputation isn't a feature here on WoF. Although it seems at one point in the past it may have been. Personally I'm glad it's not. A member's reputation is what it is. For me it would be a shame if members were dissuaded from taking an unpopular position on a subject for fear of their 'reputation' being voted down. Same way with the + and - options. Although a "LIKE" button might be a welcome addition IMO.

A thank you message is much more thoughtful and personal. When you add a :) to it, I am sure who you are thanking will have more appreciation for the time you took to respond.
