I want to welcome MrkGrismer to the mod team here at WOF. Mark has been a member here for a long time now and has gone above and beyond with his posts in trying to help other members. I'm sure he will do a great job for us all.

I think they might have one on the AA site, but I don't think it is talking about the same thing...

Medical Exams – A caller explained that the civil surgeon who completed the medical exam used the wrong form and then wanted to charge an indigent refugee to reprocess the paperwork on the correct form. What recourse does an applicant have if this occurs?

USCIS Response: Customers should notify the Director of their local office when they have a complaint about a civil surgeon.

01-05-06 Met by phone after being introduced by a friend at work
06-27-06 Met with Attorney so I would know what information to gather while in the Philippines
06-30-06 Flew to Manila to Meet in person
07-07-06 Returned to USA
07-12-06 Gave Attorney Everything needed to file our Petition
07-12-06 Attorney told me Divine will be here in about 4 months
08-24-06 Called Attorney to find out how things were going. I got voice mail but no callback
09-22-06 Met with Attorney and was told everything was going good and Divine will be here in 2 months
09-22-06 Attorney told me that Divine needed to sign some papers and they would be faxed to her
09-29-06 Still no fax sent to Divine and I found the website Visa Journey
09-29-06 After spending time at V J I didn't understand how Divine was going to be here in 2 months
10-04-06 Hired another Attorney and started the process over
11-17-06 2nd Attorney received all our signed documents
11-24-06 USCIS received our petition
11-30-06 NOA1
12-06-06 touched
02-22-07 touched - I have checked almost everyday since the middle of January
02-22-07 NOA2 Approved
02-26-07 Received hard copy of NOA2 via snail mail
02-28-07 NVC received our case
03-02-07 Case was forwarded to Manila
04-25-07 Early Medical Done
05-18-07 Medical
05-25-07 Interview - APPROVED
06-05-07 Visa in Hand
