Yes, I assume that you are referring to US dollars. A family can carry up to US $10,000 or the equivalent in any currency except Philippine pesos without declaring having it, in pesos now the max went up to p50,000. Actually according to the law a person can carry as much foreign money as they wish, they would just have to declare if over US $10,000 but I sure as heck would not feel comfortable telling anyone that I had that much money on me.
