Hmm, it is a little childish, but it works both ways.. if my gf asks on the phone if I eat enough, I can answer "Hindi, kasi mataba ako, pangit" just to hear her yell "HINDI" ...
But I seriously think she has low self-esteem about her looks. Filipino beauty values are different from mine (flat nose? short? I love it! )
Ha, good one Jolin. That made me laugh. I guess I'm one of the few Filipinas who don't have height issues. I have weight issues though
This is a little out of topic, but it amazes me how you guys can speak Tagalog so well. All my fiance could say is "Si lola ay maharot."
He really is hilarious sometimes.
I guess I need to push him harder to take out those CDs more often. I'm just curious, can you guys carry on conversations in Tagalog already?
