I set up an account with FedEx specifically to handle the customs problem. It doesn't keep them from charging duties but it gets billed to my FedEx account instead of my fiancee' having to come up with cash in order to receive it. We have not had a package opened yet so it must be just the declaration they are using as the basis for the duty.

We just used UPS. It was delivered in 6 days. Apparently UPS farmed it out to another company in PI, which delivered the item on a motorcycle.
