Mods,

I went to midfy my sig a ways back and lost my whole signature including my timeline (not sure I could reconstruct it with what I had there). Is there any way to recover the signature?

Thanks,

Brent

I checked google to see if they had cached versions of your posts, but not sigs show up on them.

Some of your timeline is here tho: http://www.theworldo...mp;#entry122256

Medical Exams – A caller explained that the civil surgeon who completed the medical exam used the wrong form and then wanted to charge an indigent refugee to reprocess the paperwork on the correct form. What recourse does an applicant have if this occurs?

USCIS Response: Customers should notify the Director of their local office when they have a complaint about a civil surgeon.

There's no way to restore about the signature not unless the administrator will restore the database and whole site from the previous date. The best thing you can do sis is try to find your old post if the signatures is still there then copy paste that and save it again to your current signature settings.. good luck :)

I am afraid that an old post won't work because the signature changes for EVERY post because it is a link, not part of the text in the post. The same for the profile photo.

If that is the case then we don't have any choice but make a new signature line. Unless the admin will restore everything ( which is very impossible because previous data will be lost ).

My suggestion is to open the edit signature (be careful not to change anything), copy the HTML text (the part you would edit in the box), paste it into a notepad window on your computer, and save the file. Then if you accidentally mess it up editing it later, you can simply copy/paste it back in from your saved file. :D
